Over the past four years The Rapid Jags have established themselves as young trendsetters in the local rock music scene. Comprised of Jack Lutz, Aidan Schaffer, and Logan Gallant, all from Heath, Ohio.

The Rapid Jags have a sound reminiscent of the 2000s Indie Rock and Blues Rock scene, mixed with 1960s Psychedelic Rock, 1970s Progressive Rock and modern Emo/Metalcore tendencies. They have a wide array of influences such as Jimi Hendrix, Styx, The Black Keys, The White Stripes, Arctic Monkeys, Stevie Wonder, Yes, Animals As Leaders, and Fall Out Boy.

The band was first introduced into the scene getting their roots playing at the local farmers market, talent shows, and local parties. They’ve recently moved up to playing CD92.9’s The Big Room Bar, Skully’s Music Diner, The Local Pub and Grill, The Lazy Daizy Festival, and have competed three times in the Tri-C High School Rock Off at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!

After recording many different demos, The Rapid Jags released their first EP entitled, New Day, on August 2nd, 2019. This EP was written and recorded completely on a Tascam 8-Track in the summer of 2019. Pairing up with the ever so talented Jakob Mooney of Mooney Recording Studios the band recorded their first full album, Awakening, which was released in January 2021.
